1962 Alaskan trade token, looks comicle to me how about you?

Ok so when I was looking at this token I noticed that the moose is standing in a strange way and that the lower face on the totem pole looks like it could be sticking it's beak where it should not. The second face up from the bottom looks horrified at the whole moose butt thing going on. Maybe I am just 2 tired but this token makes me smile because it just seems silly in the way it was designed even the moose looks like it has a silly grin. Is it just me?

I wonder if the artist was much more than a novice. Moose don't have tails like that and the attempt at antlers is pretty weak. The bell is amateurish too.

Looks like an item that is the result of a committee decreeing what the main design elements should be and then an artist getting back at them for having to cram all this stuff into the design. I think its funny, too.
