Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
That's supposedly rebate silver, or also known as Gilligan's Island silver ...

GRANDAM---I was thinking about getting a set of these bars. How do they come packaged? Do they come loose in a box? Where is the best place to buy them?
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
These arrived late last week to add to the pile. Gotta buy them art bars when they come around cuz they're getting harder to find at reasonable prices. damn internet.
To forgive is to free a prisoner, and to discover that prisoner was you.

The bars are just packed in baggies,,,, no factory seal or anything.
They also have an 8.8 oz bar which I got just to have all of them,,, good luck number for the Chinese or something I believe?
It's actually 8.88 oz and yes, 8 is considered a good luck number by many Asians. I read somewhere that some Asians like to buy double eagles dated 1888.

Hmm only interesting silver I've picked up lately. I have three of this round in silver now, still have only found the one bronze. No idea of the mintage numbers just know it was low.

Just exactly what is it about that particular sealing tape such that so many sealed tubes use them. I think that is the only kind of tape I've ever seem. Are they acid free or something?
Reinforced Strapping Tape 862.
A high-strength strapping tape designed with a unique backing that is reinforced with continuous polypropylene monofilaments.
This backing provides excellent resistance to cutting, nicking, tearing or puncturing that typically cause un-reinforced tapes to sever and fail.

Reminds me of the comments in the SilverBaron thread where he showed a picture of his stack and someone wanted him to open all the monster boxes.
Well played.
