CAC buys coins, right? How to sell to them?

I recently had some coins CAC'd and I was wondering how to contact them to at least see what they would offer for them. The auction scene has not been good lately and they may be a better way way of selling them to.

Just curious, and possibly an alternate route.

They do buy coins, but not everything that gets a sticker.

Call them and ask what they'll pay.

There are dealers that do post buys for CAC coins thru coinplex It costs $100/month to join and get the posted bids. Some dealers might share the bids on the coins you have.

CAC posts bids on stickered coins on Coinplex. They don't have bids on every single issue but do on many.

I believe you are confused, they aren't in business to make you whole.

I disagree. Auction results all depends on who's watching that week (month, etc.). Whereas the experts at CAC, or any other high end dealer, could pay more on a PQ coin they know the can sell for a profit, even if they have to sit on it for a while.

Further, your sarcastic remark at the end of your post seems unnecessarily rude, considering the question was asked in a cordial manner.

I have seen you ask rudimentary questions or make uneducated replies to subjects that many experienced posters here could have pounced on in a similar manner you did above, but didn't. Mainly because why humiliate in the hobby we all share? We should foster good will...or say nothing personal at all.

According to the CAC website, they have purchased over $425M (another milestone) in coins, that should tell collectors something; not only are they buying, but people are selling to them! Am I expecting retail? Heck no, someone would be extremely foolish to think that. What I said is that I would like to hear what they would offer in comparison to some of the dismal auction prices of late.

Tell me about it. Some of us have been getting beat up in the auctions, or have had to pay high prices to land a certain item.

Once CAC buys coins from Coinplex (or elsewhere) for their stated bid price, who do they turn and sell them to?
