The Batman Quarter

Heaven help us. We had the Mormon-F Buffalo Nickel auction last week. This week we have the Batman Quarter. And what a bargain it is.

Batman Quarter
I love the 3 P's: PB&J, PBR and PCGS.

Batman AND Superman on the same quarter. Who'd a thunk it? And all for only $500! A great discovery indeed.

    Here's the discovery announcement:

<< <i>teachmind Picteals NEW DISCOVERY and I am the discoverer Raul Ramos II 9/23/2015

this 1988D quarter is one of the first discovered by Mr. Ramos. it has a Picteal of Bat-man and what appears to be Superman. This is on a scale 0 thru 10, 10 being the best its a 0.8 observe and a 3.6 reverse. oh even that these are low dose not mean its the grade of the coin. I do have 9.5 picteals. >>

You can tell it was a low dose indeed. This fella is definitely off his meds.

EBay needs to create a separate category- no, site- for the mentally ill.

Then you can have a one-stop shop for "picteal" Batman quarters and Mormon blood nickels and ghosts in a jar and haunted paintings and pieces of toast with burn patterns resembling Jesus or the Virgin Mary.

Say, what IS a "picteal", anyway?

I have ten of those. I keep them with my Dexter specimen 1804 dollar. It has a picteal on it, too. Looks like the letter D.

I only buy Mormon blood nickels if they have an abcde instead of an F.

In my experience words like picteals are caused by text to speech nimrods who don't proofread. They just babble into their i-gadget randomly and never even glance at what comes of it.

for normal folks, I would agree about the proof reading.

but, he has stated that he means the word.

and wants to get known for coining the term

I'm pretty sure Ebay IS the site for the mentally ill. The buyers for obvious reasons, and also the masochistic sellers for putting up with said buyers.

The Batman Quarter is similar to people seeing things in stains on the wall. I do like odd things and did buy and sell the Harry Potter Nickel and Currently have the Star Trek Logo Cent image

i just spoke to JT and the picteal is going to be in the next CPG.

OK, I finished reading the seller's description, and I have NO IDEA what he is talking about. What is a "picteal" and what type of stimulants do you need in your system to imagine Batman and Superman on that coin?

I feel so old some days...

This fella is a classic newbie who "thinks" he see's something which simply is not there. Think "Rorschach Test".
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
