1922 normal relief peace dollar with U.S. anchors in obverse and reverse

I have a 1922 normal relief peace dollar with two U.S. anchors in the obverse and one in the reverse. Also there is a K in the obverse. Any suggestions about this coin?

The coin was modified outside the mint after it was struck. It is a damaged coin, probably worth silver melt value.

I agree..post mint damage...but a picture would be nice.... some of us Navy vets might like to have the coin.... and Welcome aboard. Cheers, RickO
  • Hello Ginza the coin would be considered damaged/graffiti but could have value based on the design and if more information about it can be found. If it was a commemorative piece that would also add to the coin. Pictures would really help us to determine what you have. Welcome to the board and have some fun...
As a new member I would suggest turning on your private msg option in preferences so you can also talk one on one with other members.
