I thought PCGS had difficulty assigning straight grades to mega-toned Peace dollars?

The Peace $ is cool and I really like the toning, hope our host do also. Most Peace $s look nasty when they tone from the composition mix and yours is better than most. I bet under good lighting or imaged axial it would really stand out and pop. From the images provided I would go 64 or 64+ for the eye appeal.

Thanks all. The Peace dollar really is a knockout. That's why I sprung for truviews. Does anyone know if they still get photographed even if the question the color?

If a coin receives a details grade it will still get the truview.

I would've done the S+ bit....."free" trueview and they may trust it a bit more, on their side, when the coin is toned in a way they are unsure of.
Nothing is failsafe, but it is another tool

I would bet that the Peace Dollar will grade .91 Questionable Color, but a pretty coin none the less. The Morgan should grade MS64. Please let us know PCGS opinion.

That is the nicest looking toned Peace dollar I can recall seeing for a very, very long time.

65 on the Peace dollar, but from painful personal experience with these, it is not going to be easy with that toning. I bought an entire album of Peace dollars, some like yours, and they just would not pass. Fingers crossed for you!

Still waiting for my 09/21 economy submission at Long Beach, so no worries yet. Did you do economy or regular? I did see some threads sometime back where turnaround was pretty quick, not sure if that is still happening after the recent shows.

Really like those dollars, especially the Peace! I think it has a fair shot of grading.

First off, I like both coins. I'd call them 64 and 63 respectively. Looks like album target toning to me. Were they mine I'd just add them to my toner collection raw.
That said- both have the same color palette, so based on previous experience IMO either both will grade or both will 91.
