PCGS Holders-Different width?

Won a coin at auction and noticed that one off the coins has a PCGS holder that's slightly thicker and heavier and it will not fit in the NGC box.
1st one I've run across like that.

This change does not make me happy. The holders do not fit in conventional boxes and protective bags, and in the long run they take up more room in safe deposit boxes.
Heavier, harder... Like museum quality acrylic.
The outside rings are at a different angle now it, making an interesting effect in my pictures

Yeah it's like a Disco Ball
Back to cigar boxes for coins again.
What crap we put up with.
<< <i>The new PCGS holders are slightly thicker (they will fit in a PCGS blue box) but they're about 3 grams lighter than the previous holders. >>
Had to check this out. Weighed a few myself and came up with nearly 6 grams lighter for the new, thicker ones.

Seems like a good time for someone to market a quality box that will hold both the new and the old PCGS & NGC slabs.
