Vedigris on coins

It's the green stuff that grows on coins and I am wondering if anybody has had any problems with it getting larger inside a slab?

If the corrosion is active, it will continue to grow in the slab.

Any way to get rid of it or reducing it besides running through a coin counter several times or to place in a canvas bag and shake them up like heck for a long time This would be for Lincolns and Jefferson.

Soaking in mineral oil will help remove it or reduce it if majorly encrusted.
