1980 Topps Wax Case Break?

Just saw on Facebook that BBCE recently scored two cases on a California trip. Not sure if financially reasonable to break something like this up, but FASC 1980 Topps wax box would be a nice addition to the collection.

Since I'm not sure if this is the thread for reservations, I'm gonna play it safe and say I'd like one.

    Thanks

They appear to be in great shape. Taking down both cases would be ideal if the price point is right.

As always thanks for reaching out David

Those are almost prettier than a wax case of 1984 Super girl cards, featuring Helen Slater.

Its a shame those beautiful unopened cases have to get ripped. They are so nice. Aren't there any unopened case collectors on these boards !!

Does anyone know if BBCE would wrap a sealed case?

Maybe they can label it FASP - From a sealed pallet. LOL

Their wrapping machine does not accommodate that size case, details in another recent case thread.

ETA: and it's more of a shame it's taken 35 years to rip that case. Free the cards from their tomb image
  • Something I learned a few days ago on the size of the case they can wrap. There is still a possibility that they don't get rip but sold unopened as there are buyers waiting for stuff like this to buy out right. Maybe at least one will get ripped. You got possibly 20 people happy with possibility of getting new customers verses making one guy extremely happy buying the whole case! Either way....that stuff won't last long!

Not a major savings but since it's FASC - the price is good for me!

    Thanx David - I'm in!

I am in but gone this evening to coach until later tonight. pm sent. Thx.
  • Always amazing how people say Steve prices are too high! I'd like to ask these rascals dude...well why would a man sell a box FASC for the same price as a potential made up box with legit packs? I wouldn't do it! That's a great price FASC! I thought one was pushing it...but two cases....that would be cool to see them both fill up!

The pricing is great and a testament to all of the business and trust that you guys have established with Steve over the long haul. I definitely know that I'm lucky to get the benefit.
