Thanks, KC-- I've been fortunate in the past to spot some cards that re-graded considerably higher a second time around (some two grades, one time two and a half grades) and that 52B is more of a lock to do that in my eye than any of the past cards. Blew me away in hand. Hoping this one does as well...
Bob - Hope your family and you enjoy the new vacation home.
Matty - nice MICK!
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Took a while but finally secured this for my Moss PC. Oddly enough, PSA 10 versions do not show up often. Got it for what I thought was a great deal as well, so that helps.
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.
Congrats to everyone on their pick ups. Here is my latest. I have a 7 for my registry set, but I have been wanting a stand alone 8 for a while in case I ever want to sell the set. Very happy to pick up a nice RC of the Logo! ETA: the white line by his left elbow is not on the card but rather an unfortunate scratch on my scanner

One modern...AD USA...courtesy of Steve, thank you very much. And a vintage for my Mantle set. Leveraged a 4X and pretty stoked on this 4 despite some of its flaws. I'm getting pretty close on my Mantle set.
52-90 All Sports, Mostly Topps, Mostly HOF, and some assorted wax.
This has been a really nice month of cardboard on the boards. Thanks to all for the kind words on my West rookie. I couldn't be happier with that purchase. Jim--You have a knack for finding centered Mantles. Nice add. You are making nice progress in your Mantle set. Doug--I will have to sell a Mantle to afford a new scanner Know somebody? Mike--I don't collect games, but that is an incredible showpiece there. Matt--It goes without saying but the Mantle and Schmidt are gems. PDub--Love the Mantle. I think that early Bowman run from 51-54 have the best pictures of Mantle of any in his cards.
I put together the Jim Palmer Basic set back in 2006-2007, so this is the first upgrade in 8+ years. Slightest of tilts, and cantered a little high. But the eye-appeal (and price) are very nice!
Staying with the Orioles, I've started a Boog Powell set. Been focusing on centering, and overall eye appeal. The '63 came today. Here it is, along with the others so far.
I love player collections, so I'd love to check out your Palmer and Boog registries. Can you link them, or at least provide some info so I know which one is yours?
I added links to my sets in my signature. There's also a Frank Robinson Set that wouldn't fit in the signature block. It's slow going on those. I'm in no rush. Maybe 2 or 3 cards/month.
I try to keep scans in my sets, and I'm working on updating them.
Dan, I've enjoyed looking at your Yaz sets. Much of Palmer's career coincides with Yaz's career.
Not a September pickup, but just for you, Dan, here's one of my favorite cards in my collection...
Thanks for your kind words about my Yaz registry, for sharing your bodacious Yaz RC, but thank you most of all for linking your player sets. I'm headed now to check them out!
Kind of an impulse buy. I have been wanting to add a Mantle for a while and I have always loved this design.
The second is a card that I think is grossly underrated. Just over 100 total graded between both PSA/SGC. Figured I better get one before the crazy leaf prices spill over to these. Can't wait to get it in hand.
Steve, I love the West RC...Matty, it looks like we picked up matching Schmidt's. Congrats...I also love the great 62 Mantle and the 74 Ryan. Congrats to all.
It was a busy week with the 5X rolling. Can't wait to see what everyone got. Still waiting on several items but these arrived over last few days so I figured I'd share.
Pretty stoked on the 53 Mick. Putting together a Mantle collection on a budget, doesn't really go hand in hand, but I've done my best to grab cards that meet my eye appeal. Obviously, in the low grades, you need to be able to accept some flaws. I thought this 1 was pretty nice...despite the obvious pin hole. However, I created my own story about how the hole got there and how long it hung on some kids wall back in the day, before being carefully placed in a cigar box for a few decades. And in this case I found it to be a far less objectionable flaw than those on many of the 2-3s I was also looking at...and for a much kinder price.
As for the Aaron, I thought it had really good color and registration and decent centering. I'd initially watched it and let it go as a BIN, but it was relisted as an auction and I sniped it for about 12% less. Pretty happy once in hand too.
More to come before end of month.

Matty, the 64 Mantle is awesome. It definitely looks like a bump candidate.

This will be a departure from the normal fare here.
Bobby Shantz's Baseball Game - 1954 - Real Games Manufacturing Co.
The cover is in good condition with one corner tear - will be repaired down the road.
The game is the most complete I've seen - in fact, it appears to never have been played with.
Thanx Peter! Peter Fishman, an internet buddy found it for me - expertly packed and sent to me.
Having the "photo" is a major plus.
And, it comes with the playing cards which always seem to disappear from the game.
I have seen these cards signed by Bobby.
And last, the score board is complete with all the player 'pawns' - is this great or what!!!
So, until I play it one time, I won't comment on what it looks like - the size of the scoring i.e.
I think I should finally name myself - Game Board Geek
I have it OC - can give you a headache looking at it.
My #2 Ranked Michael Jordan PSA Basic Set
Jim, when you complete your Mantle registry, will you please post them all together??
Couldn't resist a centered 74 Schmidt with no print dots. Been one of those cards I've always had an affinity for since childhood.

<< <i>Was happy to finally pick up a strong copy of this card and not have to pay $1500 for a 'certified high end' example.
Love the card and was one of my favorite cards as a kid. Congrats on a great pickup.
<< <i>Nice 74 Ryan and 65 Mantle. The 1965 design has always really stood out to me for some reason.
I'm curious to see how the 5X ebay bucks affected everyones pick ups at the end of the month. lol >>
Didn't affect me at all since I never get the offers anymore.

Just incredible Arthur.
From one of the "old school" ads in SCD - that card is "dripping with color!"
That card is so clean - you can eat off it.
Congratulations - that's a card I always wished I had picked up.
John - that's a really nice Ryan card - from what a recollect - it's a tough card to find perfectly centered - super pickup.
Those are two favorites of mine Jim - nice pickups buddy.
