    I chose "Numis." One that is a true collector has to study and do research on what he or she collects, right? So, even the so called collector, has to consider themselves as a Numismatic! Then, in return after buying certain coins and then also selling a few, has to also consider themselves as a dealer too, right? That's what I would think anyway?image

    I voted "numismatist." I've spent too much time studying this hobby to say anything else.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Collector. Though I do try to spend a decent amount of time studying.

    Until I have put this effort into contributing to the greater knowledge of coins, either by teaching other collectors or publishing some original research, I think I will remain a collector.
