I don't see anything that would make me suspicious, though the FRAUF ALERT thread on N54 is pretty funny.

ETA: At least one thread is still active from here, but the info is 4 years old: Link Grote and packCollector were vouching for him then.

    looking into it now...

edit: hilarious, especially knowing how the thread was going to end up!

When I was in the market for a 1980 OPC baseball wax box earlier this year, which I've since acquired, I made a thread on BST stating such. He must read the boards because he sent me an e-mail personally stating "good luck because I've never in my life seen one"..he has one listed on eBay now, though I'm not sure it it's a "frankenstein box" or not. Anywho, that's all the dealings I've had. His prices do seem to be on the higher side, but the more power to him. He always has mega boxes for sale that's for sure.
Always looking for OPC "tape intact" baseball wax boxes, and 1984 OPC baseball PSA 10's for my set. Please PM or email me if you have any available.

I've met him at the Shriners show in MA before, he was set up with a lot of his incredible wax

Spoke with him for a few about 80-81 Topps Basketball he had at $2200 which I thought was rich back then DOH!

Also, made some BO deals on Ebay with him, always been smooth....

PFB is CU member Peter. A great guy to deal with.

I remember him belonging to our "Wax Pack Group" on eBay back in the day. Seemed to be a real nice guy.

Peter (PFB on here) is also a nice guy. Have completed more than one deal with him.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

He does have an impressive assortment of material. I have purchased from him before and can vouch for him. Quick delivery. Product as described. Aggressive pricing and not much for negotiation, but he generally deals with product you don't see often. A good guy to know if you're chasing difficult unopened.
Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.

As far as I know, he is not a board member but I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Scott (dropthepuck20). I've only had smooth transactions with him over the years. He does utilize BBCE to authenticate his higher end stuff which is a plus as well. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him.

Scott Allen is his name and he is a great guy -- purchased many packs/boxes from him and will continue to do so without hesitation.

I would say that some of his boxes are complied if you don't mind that sort of thing, but I would say that product is authentic as illustrated by the BBCE shrinkwrap.

Agreed, he shoots for the moon with his asking prices and isn't willing to move much. But given he's sitting on some legitimate, hard to find items I certainly can't blame him for taking that approach... especially when rarer unopened items seem to be holding their gains if not making new ones.

By the way, he technically is a member here, but hasn't signed in for well over a year.
