Anyone see the Morgan Die Cap?

I had a chance to play with the Morgan dollar die cap that was at John Dannreuther's table at ANA, arguably the ne plus ultra of Morgan errors.

And then there was the modified high relief 1922 Peace dollar

Which was also right next to an 1813 $5 brockage maker, picture to be uploaded later when I find it.

Is there a side photo similar to the 1903 die cap Broadstruck linked to? It would be great to appreciate how deep it is.

Neither of the Morgan Die Caps are very deep and have more outward expansion then upward.
They just didn't mushroom up onto the die with repeated blows like seen on thinner planchet smaller denominations.
They look more like a multi-struck centered broadstrike with a full brockage reverse.
Still a 6 figure error no matter how it's designated.

It was in a thick slab when I shot it. It has a very uniform depth of maybe 1/4".

Saw that when I visited Harlan J. Berk, Ltd. to say goodbye just before I left Chicago.
<< <i>Thanks for posting as I'd never seen the 1886 beyond this poor image

That photo should have been given a credit to the Willamette Coin Club. It comes from a page with a couple other nifty errors:
