A Bust Half I Have Never Shared

It's one of the first Bust halves I bought when I started collecting in 2010. It holds a special place in my collection, even though it is not the most valuable half I own. I bought the coin unattributed and did not realize until later that it was actually the scarcest 1827/6 die pair, O-103. This small, inadvertent cherrypick is what sparked my interest in Overton die varieties.

It is the 1827/6 overdate. I bought it as a normal 1827.
It's nice to be able to single out a certain coin that sparked the fire.

cool. just wondering about your differentiation of a pick being between financial "creation" with knowledge or just getting something "extra" from a seller that they didnt know/care about.
i like the x-factor you added, "This small, inadvertent cherrypick is what sparked my interest in Overton die varieties."
