Bossier City, LA Show Walker and IHC Picks- GRADES IN

cmerlo1cmerlo1 Posts: 7,891 ✭✭✭✭✭
Not only did my wife and I do well at blackjack in the casino last night, but the luck continued to the show today. Both are varieties I always look for, but have only ever found in low grades. Pardon the cell phone photos- the coins went right in for grading so I couldn't get them back home to Austin to photograph properly.

I was really excited to find a 1944-D FS901 (hand-engraved AW) half this nice. The only other one I picked was a cleaned VF. I think it has a shot at upgrading also:

I also found a VF FS401 (1 in neck) Indian Cent. I've found several, but none above VG:

    A couple of nice pickups.

This is the first time in years that I didn't make this show. I usually manage to find a coin or two to bring back to Texas.

I like the show- I've gone the last couple of years. It's a long drive from Austin but there is always fresh material there. Oh, and casinos image.

The photos from my phone are really bad. It's actually a nice coin with good color.
