Glad I can finally see some better pics of this coin. The seller's photos made it look like it had a beautiful purple color. Still a nice coin though, I'd say it looks better struck than the seller's pics, but the toning doesn't look as nice as I thought it would be (assuming that your pics show the color more accurate than the seller's pics).

    64. Looks like a nice coin. Your pics look yellow, are they or is that the true color?

Nice. I'd guess 65, no FH.

MS65. It appears to have nice color. Hopefully it is an accurate image. Nice strike just about everywhere except the head.

Beautiful coin. Hate grading SLQ's from images.
Looks Gem MS ( 65+) ... Obviously, not a FH.
One of the more colorfully toned ones I have seen.

65 and I'm not so quick to dismiss the possibility of FH (there is some unfortunate glare from lighting in that area but it looks well struck)

I agree. Nice coin. It's too bad it isn't a full head.

    MS64

Nice color but that might be the flattest head I've ever seen on a 19-P as this date is one of the easiest SLQ's found struck like a moose.

The pictures are fairly accurate. The blue runs across the top of the obverse from one side to the other. My pictures show a little more of a yellow hue due to my lighting (I'm definitely a novice when it comes to photography). Nice detail in the shield, but definitely not a full head. The reverse has a tinge of gold next to the rim around the entire circumference with a faint blue and the dark brown which really sets off the eagle in my opinion. The coin is currently graded as MS64 in an older holder. My first thought was that it might be under graded. I may send it to PCGS in the near future to see if it would upgrade. I appreciate all of the feedback. Happy collecting! image

I would have agreed with the NGC 66.....and if attempted....PCGS MS65. Who knows what PCGS will do what that color. They just might refuse to cross it at any grade. I like it. But I don't count.

I could see that coin in a 65 holder, but it's not a lock.

I am with savoyspecial on his thoughts. The coin looks well struck in other areas. Better pics would help. Maybe a close-up of the head area? Nice coin ksuscott. Congrats.

What old holder? PCI by the looks of the toning? Do you have a full pic showing the reverse slab also?
