A few very sharp cards in that group~hope you can pop a 10 on one or more.
Thanks for sharing the results~good luck with any future rips.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
WOW!! Good luck with the rack box! Is the 79 set your favorite? That one is one of the tougher issues from the 1970s. Tougher than 78s for sure.
The Marc Hill on top of ythe rack in that box is very tough to find without the print smudge.

Thanks! 1979 is the only issue I can find racks in volume so figured might as well. The Marc Hill has great centering and an equally great print smudge
Holy cow! 79 is definitely my favorite set, and it's a toughy... best of luck and hopefully centering mirrors those top couple racks throughout. Please, please post lots of pics... love seeing nicely centered 79s.
Thanks guys I'll post pics as I can. These are all the 24 racks. Some have decided to have upside cards in the front of the packs but I won't let that phase me!
Rack box of 79 is a serious rip. I hope you are having fun with it. Remember psa 10s are incredibly tough...Molitor (pop 1), Winfield (pop 1), Ryan (pop 7), Ozzie (pop 4), Brett (pop 9), Rose (pop 9)...a lot. Of stars have to align.
Good luck!
Collecting pre-1960 HOF; graded unopened 1970s; unopened to rip.
I got through the first 8 racks (starting at the last rack and moving backwards) and pulled 36 cards that look pretty good to me. I also pulled 3 additional star cards (last scan below) that are a bit too off centered but wanted to share.
There were more star cars also that I didn't provide scans of as the centering was too off or they had other issues.
So far I'm pretty happy with what I'm finding from these racks!
Nice rip thus far but please keep the rack with the Welch RC and Catfish on top sealed, I am sure there is someone out there who would love to add that to their collection. Best of luck with the rest!

OK, I'll set it aside (for now) in case anyone wants it.

<< <i>STOP RIPPING!!!!!! IT'S VINTAGE MATERIAL MAN !!!!! >>
I can't. I'm hopelessly addicted. I picked up some 1979 racks too that I'm going to try my luck with. Here's hoping they yield something special.

amazing that 4 more gems have popped in such a short amount of time....
