Coin Shop Visit Today - NEWPs (Cherrypick, Rattler Toner and Blast White...representing all today)

I went to three shops today. One was a complete bust as they did not have inventory like they used to
and are really just doing bullion and currency. No biggie. The 2nd shop had two RAW Roosevelt Dimes.
One was a Cherrypick for $4 and the other I bought because I think the price was right at $10.
Off to the next shop, I found another Roosevelt but it was a 1961 toner...kinda dark...$3 waste of money.
I can see a little blue in it but it is a stretch. After photographing it, I decided that editing the photos
was not even worth the time. LOL. Win some you lose some. In this case I wasted $3 so I won't cry much.

The 3rd coin to show is a Mercury Dime, my favorite series but I have never owned one quite like this.
Mostly because the price is frequently prohibitive. It is graded by our lovely host but I don't think it is
graded right. I will let you judge. The silly Rattler Holders have been known to be graded wrong from time
to time.

I had to polish the slab a bit but the photos came out okay I think. I spent a long time trying to
get the photos just right but still couldn't capture all of the color. On the reverse, under the word "ONE" there
is some nice purple.

Outstanding Merc. I like the Rosies too but I have been searching for a nice toned Merc. like that.

Great finds! I just started the prowl for Roosevelt and Mercury varieties and toners and would love to have a haul like that. Well done on the Merc and OMM!

Thanks everyone. Without driving quite a distance, I don't think I will make it to any shops for the rest of the week, not sure yet.

I will be at a 125 table show on Friday and then the following week I will be at Summer FUN.
After that there might be a couple of months dry spell. Get while the getting is good. I will have fun while I can.
