Hello Everyone,
I have recently acquired a coin store in San Francisco, and I need some help running it. Below is somewhat of a help wanted listing with more details:
I am looking for a full-time manager for one of the oldest coin stores in San Francisco.
The ideal candidate will have a background in numismatics and be interested in cultivating relationships both in the store and online. You should be passionate about coins and good with people.
I like the idea of fostering interest in younger people so it would also be great if you have a natural rapport with kids.
In the beginning, you will probably work mostly alone and occasionally with the owner. Our hope is to grow the business to the point where we can add some additional employees. We will work together to set up a marketing plan (website, advertising, local events, etc…) to increase traffic to the store. Over time we will work on creating an online presence and in the meantime will continue to list periodic eBay listings.
This is a great position for a self-starter who is ambitious and eager to help grow this established and respected business. There is certainly upside potential for the right person - commensurate with experience, growth and success.
If you are interested, simply send me a private message here on the forums.
Please tell me about why your interested and let your personality show.
I will be asking for references as part of the second round.
Thanks,
Seth

Let's face it, there is no 'Coin Shop Help Wanted' forum.
I don't know of any better businessman and expert numismatist than Seth. As Laura would say, "Opportunity knocks loudly!"

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
