I just posted this in the original, but since it is really starting to act up, I've created a new thread.

I just checked NGC's pop report on the 1919 DDO's. It has been updated and it looks like the 3 examples that were submitted graded as G.

    Horrible idea, imho.

What you posted is on the original thread.

I don't think you want to split off.

Ok. Then please delete this thread. I know that the original is really starting to act up. I have to manually type in the last page.

I would leave everything in one thread for ease down the road, but I'm not the Forum Police.

    This website is an antique.

The 2 biggest problems you will find with the website is it doesn't post your message right away (SEVERE LAG) and as a result, you see folks post 2-3-4 times then they all show up. The 2nd issue is it doesn't advance the link off of the main page/list of posts, so when you click on it, it doesn't take you to the last page.

Here are 2 tips to help with your frustration.

    1) Change your messages per page. To do this - click "Customize" in the upper right of the forum.
Scroll down to: How many messages do you want listed when you enter a thread?
I have mine set at 50 (Can't remember the default it's been so long, maybe 20?) This will help with the 2nd issue often seen.

    2) The website frequently writes a new page of messages, but the links on the main page won't take you to the end. You will frequently see a thread at the top with say the last post by "StrikeOutXXX" but when you click the link to enter the tread, you scroll to the bottom, and see the last post much earlier from someone else. In this case, that USUALLY means it isn't auto-advancing to the true last page.

For instance the 1919 Thread, with my "50" per page currently has 10 pages. (This will be different for everyone based on their customized settings). If I clicked on the link and the last post was old, and not the one I expected to see, you have to manually advance to the next page.

So I click up in my URL bar and see the following
    http://forums.collectors.com/messageview.cfm?catid=26&threadid=937347&STARTPAGE=9

I would just click at the end, backspace over the 9, and change it to a 10 and hit enter and I see the most recent page/posts.

Based on that setting, you could have more/less than me, likely 22 or so if you're on default. Whatever your browser says, be it 9 or 22, just backspace and increment it one number.

Thanks Strikeout. I will customize the number of posts per page. I am already clicking in the URL and manually changing the page number to get to the "True" last page. I guess I have become spoiled with CoinTalk. When you click on a particular thread you have read, it will automatically take you to the first unread post. It would be nice if this site got updated similarly.

I posted 2-3 days ago and they still haven't shown up. Thanks, Tom for explaining this-it's happened a few times before and I could n't figure it out.

I have been checking the antique shops in this area for this dime... (no coin shops) and so far, no luck. Cheers, RickO
