New Purchase - 1900 Morgan GTG It has been awhile

I have been distracted collecting other series, but I got back to the core collection and purchased a Morgan dollar. I received the coin today and was happy with the purchase as sometimes photos can be tricky with shiny silver pieces. You are welcome to guess the grade and add any color commentary. I'll post the grade in a couple of days.

    DizzleCC: I'll guess the grade at MS-64 PL, and am thinking that she'll look better in hand than the photos, which don't clearly depict the PL field reflectivity.

    I can agree with MS 64 but the PL is "iffy" IMO.
    If you do what you always did, you get what you always got.

    No underbidder here...I have one in my set but I was curious on it. It was a very good pickup.

    Thanks for the all the comments. It was a surprise pick up on ebay, so not much to hide. If you follow DMPL/PL morgans, it is a coin that stands out. I have been looking for a prooflike 1900 morgan for at least 10 years. They don't come up for sale very often and the last few have been 65 pl's on heritage. This one is a 64pl. At first glance, it looks a possible 65 but under a loop the 64 is an accurate and honest grade. The mirrors are good especially considering the date and mint mark.

    Nice...I was just busting your balls a little for knowing the grade, and then posting it in the immediate post after OP asked for a GTG image
