I've done a lot of stupid things in life, but I can honestly say I have very few regrets............
I really-really regret not buying this coin.

Not in any order of regret:
An old PCI green label Proof 62 trade $ for an $800 BIN on Ebay around 2003ish that I stared at for 2 days and did not pull the trigger. It was nice. I recently purchased my first proof Trade $ , a 62- $1900+
A really nice original 1805 dime VF 20 in an old Anacs holder on ebay around 2010ish. $985.00 opening bid. Auction coming to conclusion, I do not bid. The opening bid of $985.00 wins. I still do not own a draped bust dime and it would take closer to $2k to purchase that coin's equal.
A monster toned Morgan in MS 64 in a PCGS holder, textile and a lot of green. Put up as a BIN $800, make offer, very late in PM, 2011ish. I see it at 5am in morning before work. I want it badly, but I had been informed that the office I worked in was closing a week earlier and my continued employment status was in serious jeopardy. I decided that if I did make an offer, it would have been for $650. I want to make that offer, but I do not because I feel it would be irresponsible to do so, considering my employment status. I get to work and check the listing. Three offers were made, all after mine would have been made. The seller accepts one of the offers. The amount, $650. I have many really nicely toned Morgan dollars. This one would still have been the nicest.
I can see why you regret not buying that half.

I guess I have a different outlook on this. I've made mistakes. Loads of them, in all facets of life. I don't dwell on them though. The past is gone and it seems smarter to remember the wisdom gained and apply it to current and future decisions. There will always be things you would do differently the second time around. Chances are, those "other" decisions would have brought with them overlooked negative consequences too.
