I was 23 years old when I attended that Boston ANA - my first one outside of Calif.
Great memories, great stories, great Lobsters!
Hard to believe it was 42 years ago.......

I was there too, drove there from Detroit with my brother. Only spent a day at the show but we did a lot of touristy stuff on the trip.
This was probably sold at the show by one of the dealers, possibly Harry Forman as he had a large art bar business.

CaptHenway, I Thank You for your reply. PCGS forums have made the world much smaller. Batting 1000 with 2 replies from members who were there, that is something.
I can't remember who issued it, and if they sold them at the ANA itself, but probably so.
Collecting "Art Bars" was pretty popular in the mid 70's thru mid-80's - some real cool designs were made, but ultimately any premium for scarcity evaporated by silver going over $15 or so.
As Tom mentioned, Philadelphia dealer Harry Forman sold lots of art bars, and there was a company here in LA that made lots of them......they were just fun items to play with - a fun way to spec w/silver.

Amazing that you were there.
Do you recall these bars being for sale at the Convention?
Door prizes perhaps?
