ANA ELECTION POLL

SteveSteve Posts: 3,312 ✭✭✭
With the ANA election for the 2015 Board of Governors less than two weeks from ending, I thought it might be interesting to poll forum members and ANA members to see how they voted or didn't vote. I appreciate your honesty. Thanks. Steveimage

    Jon,
The ANA has had an electronic (internet) voting option since 2013. It is obvious they haven't promoted it enough if you hadn't heard about it. To do the voting online you must go to the ANA website and opt in under your membership. I found the process worked well for me this year. The opportunity to review and change until you are ready to make your final submission. It does save postage. This survey, so far, shows most ANA members still vote the old fashioned way. Steveimage

P.S. I accidently let MY vote in the poll say paper ballot. I actually voted electronically.

I did the electronic ballot first day it went live so I wouldn't forget like in the last election...

I did paper since they went to the expense and time to send it to me.

I voted electronically since it's basically a meaningless election and I don't care about the security risks.

I voted via paper ballot, but I only voted for the candidates I supported. In other words I didn't vote for an unopposed candidate I did not like, and voted only for the board members I thought were qualified.
