Link to video of people turning down a gold piece

I would have jumped on the chance for half price, even if I suspected the gold coin was chocolate. This video is kind of long, but you'll get the point after a few responses, some people are pretty dense.

Wanna buy a gold coin?

I would assume that the person was trying to recruit me for a cult.

    You're being too kind.

Why would he, or anyone else, expect any different results? Does the &%@#$ really think that everyone is knowledgeable about bullion and coins? If so he is the one who is the naive idiot.

I collect history in the form of coins.

I would have snapped it up with the quickness. The question is would he actually sell it for half of face?

EDIT: Any chance this is staged? Odd that not one individual saw the opportunity for a serious profit, baffling if is this not staged.

My first thought would be scam or stolen property. Either way, I would walk away. It isn't worth the headache if it turns out to be a problem - not even $1500.

Mark Dice has been doing that for years. Everything from the value of gold to petitions to repeal every amendment we have to preemptive atom bomb strikes on whoever for whatever reason to long dead tyrants announcing their candidacy. Some get it and some don't.

BTW he did have to cough up an ASE once for a dollar. It was to a guy visiting our country and knew what an ASE was.
