J-E-T-S! Jets! Jets! Jets! Geno needs all the help he can get.

Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona.

    19 remy 13's - **1 oz** @ $4,275 = $225/oz

    but then:

    14 remy 13's - **2 oz** @ $3,850 = $138/oz

also simply because he signed it, doesn't mean it was his tab.

not saying he wasn't on it, though! image

Broncos fans need to give that front office a lot of credit. The roster talent this year on both sides is off the charts.

I'll take ALL the shares of CJ Anderson this year...

Glad to see they could work the cap space to sign him. Peyton needs to stay upright image

I am not a Broncos fan but another member of my household is, so she will be happy to hear this. I may need to watch a game in Denver this year, or if I am lazy and do not travel far to watch a game Oakland would suffice. image

Congrats on finding a great fit (although I was hoping Miami would be the landing spot....rumor had it one dealer at the monthly South Florida card show were offering a 20% off to him)

Yeah, they haven't been messing around. It's been fun to be a fan the past few years. Just hope all this work leads to a SB win soon!

  • The Broncos are a good fit with Peyton Manning back there. Go balls out for Peyton! He's got some big balls himself. He visited Afghanistan a month after his SB loss and a day after we were attacked with IDF. I doubt they told him and the other players/guests that though. Ha!

    Congrats Evan. Nice landing spot.

Can't wait to see that cardboard bonus.

    All the best.

Evan has made a terrible mistake. Prior to the Nattytional, I told evan if he signed with the pats I would give him one of my 27 86 fleer basketball cases as a signing bonus. I'm also close personal friends with Peyton Manning and told him (archie's son) that if evan doesn't sign with the pats I would give Peyton (also a big collector) the case instead. Go figure, evan signs with the wrongcos err broncos!! Well, hopefully cooper's brother will give evan a couple of packs from the case.

Congrats, Evan! Good luck this season~you have a viable shot at a Super Bowl ring in Denver.

Begrudging congrats. Hah. Wish my Chargers stepped up (not that you would have wanted to go there over Denver).

Congrats indeed, seems like a very good fit! While I'm not a Peyton fan, although my wife is, I was an Elway fan growing up and always considered the Broncos my second favorite team (behind the pitiful Bears).

Congrats on your new home. I feel safer now about drafting Peyton in my fantasy league.
  • dberk12dberk12 Posts: 399 ✭✭
Congrats Evan. The Jets have a slightly better QB situation than Denver and probably give you a better shot at a ring but I guess Denver has some perks.

    Best of luck to you.

Welcome to Denver! I know a sports card board isn't a first source for info on a new city but ping me if you have any questions about the city, collecting here, professional resources, or anything else. You're going to like it here. Good luck!

Congratulations and good luck in the new uniform.

  • Congratulations! Here's hoping the one year contract gets extended once you help Denver win that ring! I was pulling for them in Superbowl 48 and still feel queazy from that opening snap. Even more queazy than I feel for Seattle not running it in to seal the deal in 49.

What? You did not blow your money on a "Mr. T starter set"? Of course, you are just playing to the crowd by saying you spent that signing bonus on trading cards instead!

Congrats Evan. I hope you picked up some great cards. I blew my bonus on cards too but it amounted to a 1976 Topps set. image
