Cherrypicked a proof Morgan Dollar on eBay just got the grade back!

Bought this several weeks back, just graded Proof-62 at PCGS. I thought it would grade 62 or 63 on a good day so all in all I'm happy.

Looks like there were four of you who knew what you were looking at, even if the seller didn't.

Value: As a rough estimate of this coins value you can assume this coin in poor condition will be valued at somewhere around $27, while one in "perfect" condition can bring $160. This price does not reference any standard coin grading scale. So when we say poor, we mean worn more than would be expected from a coin in this age, and perfect meaning it looks "perfect" without flaw and possibly even certified.

Great! I am wondering why this seller sent in a bunch of other stuff to Anacs but not this one? Also, I would like to see nicer images once you have it back. I think you will do better than just a couple hundred bucks myself.
<< <i>I bet the seller was shocked. From the listing:

Seller had to know something was amiss... great find.... what was the tell.... besides the high bid price..... that coin was a proof ?

<< <i>That is a pretty gutsy bid for a raw coin. Congrats! >>
Agreed.....In this day and age, how can anyone keep a coin like that stapled in that raw crude holder?
I'd have to get her graded.

I'm sure you would have liked to get it lower, but you got it and sometimes that's just as satisfying.
My last attempted pick, I messed it up and didn't even get my bid in.
It ended with no bidders, and there is no way to get a do over. It sold within minutes on another venue.
