eBay seller promotion

Not sure who else got this promo, but I received a promo as a seller where I can list an item and the maximum FVF will be capped at $20. I don't sell a ton but I am going to relist one of my items as I have received offers that I declined (that would have been $160 in FVF's) that I would accept for $20 in fees. Good promo if you have any high dollar items you are thinking of selling.

Interesting; my offer from ebay was a cap of $10, not $20.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
At the same time, there having 4x eBay bucks.
There has to be some very strict rules or it's time to sell eBay stock.

Since most eBay bucks promos are capped at $100 per transaction, this problem for eBay mainly occurs for items priced between about $100 (for the $10 seller promo) and $200 (for the $20 seller promo) up to $1250 for the 8% ebay bucks promo. Even then, the buyer has to purchase the card from a seller who listed the card with the seller promo going on during the one or two days a week the eBay bucks promo is going on for it to hit ebay negatively. It is the end of June, not sure if that coincides with the end of a fiscal quarter for eBay, but it seems like in March and December there were an abundance of eBay bucks promos. Seems like eBay is trying to goose their top line revenue.
The capped FVF definitely makes me want to list a few extra high dollar items.
After a few months of being ticked off that their free listing promos did not include relistings, I (finally) figured out that you can just click the "sell similar" button and it does the same thing as relist and you save the listing fees.
<< <i>I didn't get this. Is it going to everyone? I'm a top rated seller. However, I don't have a store. >>
I'm a top rated seller and do not have a store. You do have to actually open the email message to activate it, and the title won't tell you it is specifically a promotion, so you may have just skipped over it thinking there was no reason to read a mass mail spam?

Don't quote me on this, but I think the offer is only for new listings, not re-listings. At least that's how I read it.
