The "Star Spangled Banner" book at the end is wrong also, look at the binding style, not appropriate for 1815. The book was published in 1915. Sometimes time capsules have been opened at a centennial date and reviewed and re-stuffed. I wonder if that is the case with this one?

I watch for reports of old building demolitions and check for cornerstone placements in building history. They often contain time capsules. Cheers, RickO
I understand there were actually two time capsules one form 1815 and one from 1915. I hope they add another one from 2015, when the rebury them.
I have searched the web and cannot find a listing of the coins or pictures of each of them. I have e-mailed some of the people mentioned in the stories I've found, hopefully they will have more info on the coins.
Here is the coins listed in the inventory of the 1815 box.
Coins and Medals At the bottom of the jar were found 12 coins and medals, each wrapped in its own paper and labeled with an ink inscription as to the denomination/medal inside. There was not an apparent order.
1806 Copper Half Cent
1812 Copper Cent
180[last digit illegible under magnification] Silver Half Dime

This is what I was going to say.
There is a capsule from 1915, but also one from 1815.
The 1815 one contained "3 glass jars stuffed with coins"

That is cool. I can't find the exact list of coins except that there were 14 of them.
