New arrival from Zurich auction today (dirty Pontiff 1869 gold)

Ok maybe not as dirty as some like it, but it has some crust

My second coin I won from a foreign auction...they take some time to come to the US, but I've picked off a few at really good prices so their worth the wait.

What sayeth the tribe? Good, bad, ugly?

I would say that you are doing well on the foreign auction offerings so far. I like it. There are quite a few Papal States options to choose from in that time period so this avenue might keep you busy.
