Circulated 1978 Quarter possible misprint??

I have a highly circulated 1978 Washington Quarter with possible factory defects.
The head of the coin is raised in front of Washington's mouth and looks as if he is blowing a bubble or a puff of smoke.
The Mint Mark also appears to be a dot.
There is no noticeable misprint defect on the Tail of the coin.
Any comments about this coin would be greatly appreciated!
I could not get the pictures to load, so here is a link to my craigslist post:

Thanks for looking!

Welcome to the forum.
Any such error that can't be explained as a part of the minting process, and especially one with that much circulation wear, the first assumption needs to be that it's PMD (post mint damage) that makes the coin worth...$.25.
That would be my evaluation of your coin based upon the image provided.
Can't tell for sure from the photo,
but it appears the raised area on
the obv. might be from heating the
coin, and having part of it showing
the 'bubble' from the heating.
It's definitely not a mint error coin
of any type.
