I can't believe it, I actually got this email Question is..what is eligible...
Never mind: "Qualifying purchase excludes all items in the following categories: Classifieds, Business & Industrial, Real Estate, eBay Gift Cards (within the Gift Cards & Coupons category), Bullion (within the Coins & Paper category), and eBay Motors."

Listed category is the determining factor. gold coins listed in a category other than bullion are eligible. APMEX has been known to list bullion in their "error" category.

Nothing worthwhile for me either....
Why do I see only $11.52 in ebay bucks on this? 4 ducats not listed in bullion so it should be 5x bucks

Most likely because you are $11.52 away from hitting the $500 earned limit or because you have already hit it.

I got one of those a year or 2 ago for the gold continental set, neat piece that you don't see very often in person.

I was going to flip it once it arrived.

I have a thing for coins with Simon Bolivar on them. It rubbed off on me from an acquaintance of mine who collects them as well.
A fascinating man who doesn't get enough attention for the things he accomplished .

This is just what "they" want….to lure you into spending money you have not budgeted for items you don't really need that may in fact be overpriced by tomorrow!

But when it's 9 % under spot and around 10% under their buy price, I think it is a pretty safe deal.
