    OK, now I'm curious what the majority think. Do milkspots mean originality or the sign of a dip and poor rinse. Both? I think this Franklin has original skin with no toning. Am I wrong?

    I thought that milk spots were from improper rinse at the mint, and they don't come off even when dipping. For $9 I would say that you did well anyway.
