How does Apmex make money? Huge sale on 1oz Gold Maples

At wholesale best I can buy these at is $24 over. Are they hoping for return customers? Or are they strained for $?

    The Canadian Maple, has been selling for close or at spot, at times, by the big boys. I picked up several from Scottsdale on 3/31 for $1,185..Nothing unusual, I suspect the Royal Mint offers them at a lower discount to spot, then the US Mint does for the AGE's.

    when I lived in NH, Maple ounces were about spot + 100 at the local stores image

    I just realized this is a EBay special. eBay may be kicking back on this as well. End of the month window dressing perhaps? I don't follow the stock that closely and I have never bought on eBay so I maybe reaching

    Regarding I think eBay is likely backstopping this sale
