Those last few rip threads are pulling me back in to rip some more. This'll be card by card so you can see warts and all all.

Will be merrily ripping throughout the workday!
Edit to add - my new gigantic Iphone seems to take really great pictures judging by the pack photo.

Bummed about the T/B centering because otherwise this is a SWEET card!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Sparky Lyle struck me out on three straight pitches at baseball camp. I brought his rookie card and the '73 for him to sign. He signed them on the back, which was irritating.

<< <i>The Mays card is great but he always looked so awkward in that photo. Like he felt weird being in a Mets uniform after all those many years as a Giant. >>
Ha. I was going to add the caption that when I was a kid, I always thought he looked so old and sad on the card in that Mets uniform. But now, at this advanced age, I just think it looks beautiful.

And that is all folks! (But I have another 73 pack waiting in the wings!)

A better Kaline than the previous pack. And remember what immediately followed Kaline?
[/URL]
Why did Kaline have to break the perfect centering streak though??

Now i'm tempted to open one of my nine 73 packs!!!
Great packs and what a turn of events!!
Not going to desecrate Willie by posting pics of the horrendously O/C Brock Davis, Vincente Romo, Chris Speier and Lerrin Lagrows that followed.
How did that Mays/Kaline sequence end up making that cameo? Thank you Topps factory workers!

<< <i> Awesome pull, Chris! I'm thinking a strong 8, with an outside shot at a 9? >>
Tim - I am far too emotionally invested to make an objective determination like that.
Do you know there are absolutely zero 10s of this card?

It is definitely a tough card due to centering and registration issues. Your card is well centered but does have some registration issues in blue background and minor chipping along bottom left edge. I think you have a strong 8, but hope you can squeeze out a 9. Beautiful card!

Not suggesting anything here of course...
Between Chris and Phillip and these rips the last few weeks, I've got to imagine some of us full-time collectors/part-time rippers that are sitting on assorted 70's packs, are starting to contemplate a rip or two.
I know I am, but I'm still thinking All-Star Break.
Thanks for sharing.
