Any good Vintage Sports Cards shops in Vegas?

Booked my trip to Vegas and wanted to know if there are any good Sports Card shops in Las Vegas that are worth visiting when I'm there. Mostly interested in Baseball Cards from 1957-1968 in nice raw condition. Any recommendations appreciated.

  • Ultimate, which is downtown, is one of the better that we have in Vegas. Jeremy, who you often see on the Pawn Stars as the sports expert, owns the store and is almost always there. They have 3 or 4 cases of vintage, but not too much in high grade.
Almost next door is the Toy Store who's owner is also on Pawn Stars, is worth seeing since you are already there.
The only other one that I think is worth while is Legacy on W Sahara. Sometimes they will pick up some nice raw vintage cards. Their address is 8125 W Sahara.
  • Going on Thursday . I will have to look into these places. Thank you

I agree with this assessment. Very little vintage in high grade, and lots of overpriced autos. A pretty neat store, though.

    Anyone remember Smokey's?

I remember Smokey's. He/they actually had a place on the Strip. Used to do all the big shows. Guys like that seemed like billionaires to me back in the day.
Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.

$5 per 1990 Skybox Basketball Packs.

    Those were the days.

  • I remember Smokey's real good. He got me good before I knew much about grading, but he got what he deserved. Good old jail time!
  • My advice, walk in to Ultimate, look around, be VERY drunk, and buy something with that 1200 dollar royal flush win from the bar table poker machine. Else 2 hour Amazon drone delivery of 1993 SP would be the option

I was in both shops this week. Jeremy is nice and I agree he has some vintage but not a lot in high grade. Last time I was there I picked up a Jerry West RC but nothing this time. Legacy had very little vintage, practically none. Has this shop changed owners? Last year I picked up a Butkus RC but was out of there in less than 5 mins. this time.

On Vegas - a friend went there for the weekend with his wife and they took a tour that included all the spots covered on Pawn stars - like Rick's Restorations and the "Count" - the "toy guy" - and a few others to include the Card Shop guy who comes in all the time to authenticate stuff.

I'm planning a trip but not till late fall - also going to the Grand Canyon.
