How much does your package itself cost? Each is $0.12 for me... so $1.93 + $0.12 = $2.05 altogether.

    Coins $200 or less = $2.95
    Coins > $200 = free

If you're asking total cost to ship an item lets not forget printer ink, paper, gas to the post office, etc.

Flat rate Priority Mail small box. I want the coin to get where it's going for both mine & the buyer's piece of mind and have it be done with. First class is so painfully slow
these past few months that I can't be bothered waiting as a buyer or seller. But then again I'm a collector and only passively sell coins.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Likewise. (except I use eBay shipping)
Since I primarily deal in bullion related coins, bars & rounds, I do not bother with USPS insurance. Signature confirmation on all items over $500.

E-Bay shipping with tracking is $2.01 for a 4 oz package. I use this up to a few hundred dollars. If I sell something above that I'll go with the small USPS box.

My total with envelope, post office visit, etc is $2.97 when I charge. Sometimes I run free shipping specials.

The number of times I've shipped coins w/o insurance is rarer than the coins themselves, only done with inexpensive pieces to members
    well known to me.

  • My shipping with all costs involved is usually $2.00 to $5.00 as I always ship with insurance, signature and delivery conformation. I do this to cover all the bases and build the cost into my sale price. I also state this in my listings so the customer understands when bidding. Doing this has made my ebay selling life related to shipping very uneventful. I have only had one customer complain about it and after explaining my reasons for my costs they gladly paid.

All my listing say that shipping is free. image
eBay has proven it's a free benny of buying there. image

Actual costs vary from about $2.10 to over $25.00 depends on the value of the shipment, weight, and security needs.

when I sell coins I typically include shipping in the cost and always do buy it now when selling on one of my ebay accounts. Sell through is high and it works for me.

I always use delivery confirmation and proper packaging and most often self insure. 500 plus under 100 dollar coin sales and zero loss.
