I don't think $60'000 in gold would be that heavy, I would just carry it in a carrying case of some kind and sit it by me in the restaurant. I would at least park the car where I could see it inside the restaurant. That is what I do when I just take a few trade ins with me to a show. I would be a nervous wreak if I had that much gold out in my car and I couldn't even see my car.

The comments section of that story are amusing though if the details in the body are not.

When I come back from a show and stop to eat, I carry my bag in with me

Again, and again, and again. Why will people not learn?? You do NOT leave your car - with coins, precious metals etc., - unattended.... there are thieves watching the show, parking lot and following. There must be a dozen of these threads that have been posted here - likely more. Cheers, RickO

    Ditto!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I think they obviously watch the out of state dealers assuming they're going to stop and eat.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
