FWIW: H&B just sold Louisville Slugger to Wilson

heads up? I saw it on CNBC today. I'm not an auto guy but I would think for previously retired players it would be more appealing to have an their auto on an H&B Louisville Slugger and not a Wilson Louisville Slugger (assuming they drop H&B and add Wilson). If you agree with that logic, you may want to pick up a bunch of H&B's now while you can for future autos.

Just saw this post - end of an era. Surprised it only got a single response. I guess I'm getting old!

I wonder how business has been for them with other bat companies that have sprouted up over the last 5-10 years??
  • I got the chance to visit the factory several years ago. A really cool place. I picked up a bat that I had engraved with my signature. It's hanging up in my office. My father picked up a cane made from a bat. Day we were there they were working on bats for David Wright in the machines used for the tour.
