I like all the double holders I've seen, personally I don't have 2 coins to pair together to make one though.

The GSA token is neat though. Maybe we will see a Mint Set coin with the token from the set next.

I like it with the GSA token. Very cool PCGS!

I've seen a couple of these before.

I have also seen thick-thin Norse American medal sets and Wisconsin high-low quarter sets as well.

At one time PCGS did offer a dual coin holder and I think it might have even been offered as a collectors club special.

I know that one of th4e forum members had a 1971-D and a 1971-D FEV holdered together.

They have been doing double holders for a year or so. Nice use of that option in my opinion.

Saw one on ebay (maybe this one?) a few days ago.

I thought PCGS was grading those and keeping them intact with the soft pack, or is this just another option?

  • The GSA token looks like a 69 ... I'd prefer a matched set. image

I haven't seen that either. If I collected those, I would be interested. Pretty cool.

I reckon if you pay enough it can be accomplished...double the fees for the dual holder?

I wonder if we will see a Blue Ike with this type of set up next?

Just ran across this again and thought it was cool but I'm not a GSA collector.

    What do GSA collectors think?

I wonder if I can get my whole set of Barber Halves slabbed together? It would end up being about 2)" X 32".

    I love them Barber Halves.....
  • davewesendavewesen Posts: 6,354 ✭✭✭✭✭

I wonder if I could do that with a 1971-S blue pack?

Would you prefer the dual-slab or the soft pack?

  • jessewvujessewvu Posts: 5,065 ✭✭✭✭✭

    I'm FOR it.

  • nagsnags Posts: 815 ✭✭✭✭

Personally, I prefer all GSA dollars in their original packaging.

  • TONEDDOLLARSTONEDDOLLARS Posts: 2,928 ✭✭✭✭

All my GSA’s are in the original holders and will stay that way until after I sell

  • rickoricko Posts: 98,724 ✭✭✭✭✭

Many of my GSA CC Morgans are in the original boxes.... Though I like these, I do not think I will take them out for slabbing. The boxes are part of the history. Cheers, RickO
