Just got sumpin I've been looking for for a while. A circ Classic five that isn't scrubbed or tumbled in a rock polisher.

Now the question. I posted this elsewhere and was told it was the last gold made on a screw press.
Is that correct?

It has reeding and denticles and I didn't think a screw press could do those.

I do not know about your screw press question, but this coin definitely had a reeded edge. Cheers, RickO

The steam coining press was first operated on March 22, 1836.
