Just added another coin to my 1890 Proof date set "Grade Revealed"

I would like to share the newest addition to my 1890 proof set that has been a work in progress over the past year. Todd did a great job with the photography getting the true color and look of the coin. Take a stab at guessing the grade and designation PCGS has given it.

Many of you guessed the correct grade and designation PCGS has attributed this PR Seated Half Dollar and Thank You for the nice comments on the coin.

Nice. These proof halves are so under-appreciated, especially with pretty toning and/or cameo contrast. I also just bought an 1890 half. Mine is a PCGS PR65 but is actually a PR64 with nice toning. I paid PR64 money for it, so it's fine with me.

About 90% DCAM and possibly a PQ64 to boot. Nice eye appeal. Some of those "hairlines" are on the holder. Nearly DCAM surfaces are very fragile. So with these still intact wouldn't expect to see such a coin <solid 63.

I opened this earlier this morning when no one else had posted yet and was thinking that I had no idea what to guess, and after missing by 15 pts on the last coin I tried to "guess" at I waited knowing that soon there would be many others who know these and they would share their knowledge. Sure enough they did. I only know it is nice looking and I like it!
