Machine doubling, but I believe a machine doubled date is also one of the diagnostics for the controversial 1914/3 Buffalo. Are there also clash marks under the chin? Maybe Ron or one of the other members will have some insight.

Yes-machine doubling is found on most examples of Die #1-one of the good ones and the discovery die for the variety.

Yes...A full horn...looks AU to my uneducated eye...was hoping for DDO....But better sense led me to believe it was probably machine doubling....
