What coins have been minted in the modern era, other than the 1994 & 1997 Jefferson nickels, with a (SP) matte finish? Thanks!!

How about the "enhanced" 2014 Native American (Sac) golden dollar? Not sure exactly what a Modern matte finish looks like.

Yes! I believe so? That didn't last. I wonder why? I remember when I USED to watch HSN with the late Robert Chambers when he announced that he had just purchased 1000 mint sets containing the " Matte Finish sets". He said he bought out of his own money for an investment thinking he would strike gold. Well, they are lower in mintages than other mint sets anyway.

The Kennedy came to mind immediately...I have a couple... and the last year or two there were some sets containing a coin with what I believe was also a matte finish...Cheers, RickO

I believe they were referred to as "satin finish." To my eyes anyway, satin and matte look about the same. The process may be different.
