BURGLARY

Detectives with the Murfreesboro, TN Police Department are investigating a residential burglary that resulted in the loss of over $250,000 in gold and silver coins.

Partial Listing of Stolen Coins:
107 rolls Roosevelt dimes
210 rolls Mercury dimes
29 rolls Peace dollars
142 rolls Morgan dollars
210 rolls Walking Liberty half dollars
25 rolls Franklin half dollars
148 rolls Barber half dollars
16 Pacific mint silver rounds
8 Elizabeth II 5 dollar silver 1989
20 one ounce silver Eagle/Bell rounds

    A hundred and forty-eight rolls of Barber Halves would be a flag. The rest of that load is quite generic.

    Not the average burglary. If I did the math right, that's somewhere around 500 lbs of coins. Obviously the guy had time and a vehicle.
