Spot + a finder's fee that you think is appropriate, for posting the deal. : )

Looks like it's a 1 roll limit per person.

So many of these deals from the big boys lately... I'm thinking spot is going to take a poop kicking in the near future. I'm still holding cash.

Are these in any way identifiable as having provenance to SilverTowne?

If they had the initial HM on the rounds, that would have indicated Highland Mint, who also produces the Buffalo/Indian Head round. As far as I can tell, the ones w/o a Mint Mark may very well be produced by Silvertowne. But who cares? These are bullion rounds.

Price has dropped to $333 a roll as of 10:50 EST

If you pay with your credit card through PayPal and you get a credit card rebate you are actually getting them for less than melt. They come in a plastic tube and you get free shipping. What's there not to like?image

I would care because these are easy to fake/counterfeit. It's hard enough to sell these with a premium without having to worry about whether they are genuine. It's a big reason I stick with ASEs and/or certain bars.

They're dated with 2015 so you know they are current production if that matters to anyone. These should be easy to authenticate with a scale and nitric acid. No one is going to bother to counterfeit these when ASE's and similar 1 oz coins can be just as easily made and can be sold for a higher premium over melt.

Its $416 for a roll of ASEs on Silvertowne on ebay. That is $77 less. or almost $4 less per coin.

SilverTowne selling fake bars on their own website? That's what I call an extreme paranoia mindset. ASE's are also counterfeited along with most major bars. You just need to know who you are dealing with and SilverTowne being one of the largest bullion dealers in the US, I would consider their PM products legit.

I think his concern is that they may difficult to resell at some future date should he decide to cash out.

The buff/Indian rounds have no problems being sold on eBay and never did. Along with the Morgan or other classic coin reproduced designs, appear to be one of the more favorite bullion rounds. The spread above spot is about the same for all mass produced common bullion rounds.

So did I about two hours ago. When I buy silver mail order I'm always patient because I know that it does take time to process and ship the order.
