The Pogue coins that will be auctioned off in May this year were on display at FUN in Florida, at Sotheby's in NYC and at Long Beach show in California. I know alot of folks haven't had a chance to view these special coins nor had a chance to see what is included in their collection. Stacks has recently included in their website a complete listing of all the coins being offered in May 2015 with full color pictures. Many of these coins have full descriptions so you can read about them beofre the catalog is available.
Even if you are not bidding on these coins nor collecting these series, I feel it is very important to look, study and educate yourself on these coins just because they are the best of the best and simply put the finest. Its great to learn about these coins.
Enjoy and let me know your thoughts.
My personal favorites are the 1804 14 stars dime in AU58, 1822 25/50 proof quarter, 1796 quarter and 1796 half specimen 63!
