Eye Appealing Coins -Awesome new website

EastonCollectionEastonCollection Posts: 1,418 ✭✭✭✭✭
The other day, Eye Appealing Coins launched its new website and it's a huge hit! The website is great looking and very easy to use. It's easy to track down coins that I am looking for as well as being able to search for coins available for sale. The pictured coins are great and shows what the coins really look like in hand. I have done a lot of business with the company in the past and only had great experiences with them. I highly recommend them to all. Also, there is a want list function so they can find the coins I desire. Congrats to Ray & Phil on their new website. Great job!

Has anyone worked with them? They have great items and a few Id like to add to the collection too!!

I found the previous website to be not as pretty but a lot easier for me, as a potential purchaser, to see more of the inventory at once and much quicker.
I have played with the new one for the last week or so and don't find it as easy to just browse.

That's my personal opinion. Others like it, great. For me, I will visit the website much less.

I agree very nice upgrade to their site.

Nice guy's too. I did bus. with them at the MI show and picked up this. After all what's a thread without a coin picture.

Shout out to Todd for the photo!

I've visited their table at a couple of shows and bought a few things at those shows. Don't recall their old web site. New web site has look of Pinnacle web site..

I've never purchased a coin from them, but I've sold several to them at shows. Very smooth and satisfactory transactions.

I agree with your evaluation of the site. I spoke to Phil about it briefly at the Long Beach show but we didn't have too much time to discuss. I'll certainly still visit the site however...Ray/Phil are good guys!

Sorry but their old web site was much easier to navigate.

I'm seeing a lot of this lately dealers going for facelifts when the old site wasn't broken & worked far better.

If it takes me 3-4 times as long to find stuff I used to with ease frustration will set in and I just won't surf their site anymore.

Their old site was easier to navigate but the coin photos were pretty mediocre. The new site has tremendously improved photos.

Just got of the phone with Ray, and told him I really love the new site.
Phil's imaging skills are topnotch to boot.
He mentioned to me that Mr. CBH, Sheridan Downey, said that EAC has the best selection of CBH's of any dealer.
    That's a pretty nice compliment.

Nice coins, user unfriendly set up. Fire the guy who designed it.

I have played with the new one for the last week or so and don't find it as easy to just browse.

I found it very easy - typed key word "doily", no results, moved on. image

I'm tempted to keyword spam a few ebay auctions with "doily", and just post some old cloth doily materials with coins...just to mess with you image

I enjoy looking at the Hinkelman's brothers stock when I am at shows.
Today, I received an email from them to look at their new site. There
went an hour I'll never get back. Had a great time though.

Best of luck to Ray and Phil !

Way, way, WAAAAAY too many things are moving/changing when I scroll. Pretty coins, but it hurts to look.

I agree with those who liked their old web site much better regarding speed and ease of navigation. So far, I have not been able to see coins beyond page 5, at which time my computer freezes; image and sometimes I only get to page two before it freezes! So sadly, I'm about ready to write them off my list, although I have purchased a few nice coins from them in the past and was always happy with their coins and service.

Although I'm no techie, I'm guessing that the large photo files and elaborate setup on their new site are just too huge and slow downloading for my average computer with its DSL connection?
I never thought that growing old would happen so fast.

Pretty pictures but I don't feel the premium in prices for that.

I believe at least half dozen coin dealers use the same platform... thought it was nice job

great site - with great coins and fabulous images!!

Ray and Phil would love if I won Powerball!!!
  • Lots of eye appealing throughout the web. I hope buyers do their due diligence when buying by reviewing all sellers and make offers based on fair market pricing. Anything beats the old days of ordering coins blind based on the holder or what a dealer says, instead of reviewing images.

Don't understand what it meant by this quote but EAC site is excellent and very easy to use. Besides that, great coins and I feel the prices are right for those coins. Remember, eye appealling coins are typically sold at a premium.
