I just ordered one and it goes directly into processing and credit card hit. Either the backorder is very short or the mint is definitely using that processing trick to keep from orders being cancelled.

I asked that question in the long thread and got no answer. I ordered a graded set on ebay so if we make the cut it stays in the box.

They always hit it even if back ordered to make sure your funds are good, they will put it back if they don't ship it tomorrow. I have had this done on every back order since the new website was put up.
