1959 Lincoln from FRB roll ...... wow, this one is really nice! Updated...Grade is in
![Crazy4Coins](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/587/n23WHZCU6POC3.jpg)
This coin is incredible in hand. Pulled from one of the unopened FRB rolls. I've looked at every 67 that I could find images of, and none compare.
What do you think, easy 67?
Updated to add TrueView of my coin and other examples for comparison. Does the new Trueview image of my coin at the bottom change any grade opinions?

those fields must be clean...very clean
that spot below "IN" in obverse field is enough to keep it out of 67

That seems to be the general consensus, but if you look through coin facts, half of the 67's have spots. Some have multiple spots.

+1
Doesn't the sum of all the tiny field scuffs and scratches hold it back from 67?
maybe you'll have better luck then i
send it in and update us
some coins turn in their holders
some coins
even though i can't explain it...their submitters....well they have a midas touch
some 67's are made from a bulk submission
that after looking at 87 of the same date &mm the graders get hypnotized or something and they just drop a 67 in a moment of waking up
best thing honestly
is for you to try to land one of these lofty 67 grades
there's a reason it jumps from a $30 coin to $3,000...they protect that grade
it's not easy to make a protected grade coin which doesn't mean one shouldn't try...just don't expect to
myself
i still see a 66 there
Even NGC has only graded 16 67RD's out of 1300+.
Those numbers should mean nothing, really. The coin should stand on its own.
The TPG's are less concerned with bag marks, tiny spots, and strike on small cents and more about luster and flash. They'll give this Lincoln a 5 second look, usually without a loupe. And call it a 66. IMO.

amazing example there
i'm sorry if i come off a lil rough
perhaps it stems from my hopes being squashed on landing that lofty 67rd grade on a couple lincolns i tried with
it is though
just not an easy grade to land...on older lincolns
hopefully i fire ya up to sub a couple...hopefully you do too
land that lofty grade too

<< <i>Didja send this in?? >>
Yep, it is in now. Sent in with a group of 67 hopefuls. Some of the others are extremely nice Lincolns for the dates too.
I'll be sure to post my results, which should be by the end of March.

The toning spot below "IN" on the obverse would be my primary concern.

If it were my coin, I'd run it through again. The graders were clearly on the fence since they gave it a +.

You are seeing a couple very light ticks in the field.
There is also another on the obverse below Liberty.
Neither of these areas are distracting at all.
